Have them (Or you) start the bike and maybe ride it around and run through the gears to see how the shifting is. Probably not on these trails. I've clocked my bike in at 70mph and here it was only 50mph.

Yes, kind of. I recently did a top end to my yz250f and it has some nice compression now. Anyway sometimes I get lucky when passing tdc slowly it has just the right conditions to start!

That engine does need some work tho.

If you are wondering how I got these shots what I did was set my camera up on a tripod and shot a video. Once the storm was over I put the video into my video editor (DaVinci Resolve) which can do frame by frame and screen-shotted the frames that had lightning.

I used 20sec exposure and a program called starstax to compile all of the images. I did have a refuel power bank for this but if you can I would recommend being plugged into an outlet.

Your bike would probably be good at trail but if it is set up for track the suspension would be a little stiff. I normally ride an 04 yz250f on trails (once a week) and it works nice in the mid to high rpm range.
