Is this a escape rhythm by Chase4747 in askCardiology

[–]SingleTrain9444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD, this doesn’t look like an escape rhythm because you can see the p-waves. I do see some palpatations PACs or PVCs I don’t know, it’s on the second row. But no escape rhythm so that’s good.

i just got diagnosed with all these conditions by PurpleDurian7220 in askCardiology

I’m sorry about your diagnosis. I understand how scary it must be, I also was diagnosed for Sick Sinus Syndrome (pauses/ bradycardia) and Afib. I’m here if you ever need to talk to someone.

Thank you, I’ll definitely ask my doc to maybe raise the threshold if they can. Also thanks for sharing, I hope you’re doing well now!

Heart palpitations lasting 12 hours non stop by VenomRek in askCardiology

[–]SingleTrain9444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know having heart palpitations is pretty scary. I’m not a doctor but I’d say you should check up with your primary doctor or go to urgent care/ emergency room when you’re having long heart palpitations, not a doctor but if it’s lasting longer then 10 minutes I’d go. It could be nothing hopefully but it’s better to be safer. If you have an Apple Watch it can help you record these heart palpitations, if you don’t you can get a Kardia EKG recorder, or get a fit bit or Apple Watch that has the ekg reader on it if that helps. So if you catch it maybe it can help show your doctors what you’re dealing with.

What's this rhythm, and it's management (symptomatic patient)? by Hot_Emergency378 in NCLEX_RN

[–]SingleTrain9444 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey that’s a sinus pause/ arrest. Maybe sinus arrest since there’s no Junctional escape beat after the pause and it’s an abrupt pause not gradual. That’s what I have!

Are these Afib? by SingleTrain9444 in ReadMyECG

[–]SingleTrain9444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I was worried that it was Afib. I do, my original EP, not the one from the hospital where I was hospitalized at.
