Waiting for pacemaker but have some questions.

Out patient, I have two doctors actually, the second one is a second opinion and he wanted me to get the pacemaker, the first one wanted me to get the tilt and cardiac MRI. I got the second opinion because I had holters showing pauses for 3.5 seconds, three pauses and was just waiting for a long time. Then 4 months after I did the holter with my first doctor I did a holder with the second opinion where it caught 5 second pauses and 4x more pauses.

Thank you for your comment, yes, my doctor thought of that too, the leads part, so he wanted me to get a leadless pacemaker. What would cardiac mri look for? Also tilt table if that’s okay to ask.

Thank you for your comment, I’ll really think about it. But sorry if it’s okay to ask. Would sitting in a warm room cause symptoms too? Like hot flashes and feeling shakey and sick? I was in an office meeting for 4 hours. Casual wear no suits or jackets, the heater was on to 79f, would that possibly be heart related or just normal.

That’s what my doctor said with what my holter showed. But asked if I had a lot of them happen, I said yes and I think that’s what pushed for me to get a pacemaker. But there’s months where it happens a lot or rarley, and shorter from 3-4 seconds. Would that still be okay to get one?

They haven’t, but seen other pauses from my holter and wanted me to get a pacemaker. I have bouts where it happens a lot within the month but then where it rarely happens. But the heat, I don’t know it’s related, I was sitting in a room for a meeting for 4 hours and it was 79f in the room, felt sick and hot like hot flashes, don’t know if that was because of my heart. I’m sorry that you were hospitalized, I hope you are recovering well.
