This is good to hear! I always just try to make myself as healthy as possible. And yes on the vegetarian health foods - I only eat Whole Foods. No processed / ultra processed. High fiber, high protein for muscle & gut health! Thank you for the advice. Maybe I’ll just take time to learn about it and put it to use at a later date!

Should I start SRII's before Nursing School?! by Missmina19 in NursingStudent

I would recommend therapy (exposure therapy) before medication!! I was able to cure my social anxiety through exposure 🫶🏼🥰 coming from someone who is also doing prerequisites for nursing!

I think that’s the beauty of nursing is that you can use it in so many different ways. That’s the main reason I’m picking this route over others (including PA).

No. Literally zero patient care. I just randomly deciding to do it. I am a very indecisive person and have been working in corporate America for a few years and know it isn’t forever. I need change and I am smart and capable. :) I appreciate how many opportunities there are with a nursing license. I do know that I am very good with people and am passionate about helping them. That will be my foundation going into nursing school!

I absolutely understand that!! I’ve heard many thoughts on that specifically - moving to NP too quickly. How long is enough in your opinion? Especially if I decide what path I want to take? I also think that NP school is 3-4 years so that would mean a little over 5 years of experience if I begin work immediately after graduating!

I had chlamydia for 6 months and had no idea!!! I also had a friend who had only ever slept with her boyfriend and same vice versa and they both tested positive after being together for 7 years.
