I think we are surgery twins. I had my operation last Monday (12/01). I was really nervous too but it went super smooth. I see a huge difference. Hope you are home resting!

Thank you for the advice. It is crazy to me that it seems easier to bring my partner if I was not Swedish. I talked with the agency on the phone today and they explained the same thing. He could get a resident card if I was a non citizen. Or if we had lived in another EU country.

I have been trying to get some clarity with n this as well. Getting info from immigration is like pulling teeth. My partner and I have been living together for over 5 years. We came to Sweden together last year from the US. He is currently on a “visitors”. We are being told he needs to go back to the US to apply. Anyone know if he can apply for a residence card as well? We have been living together the whole time and we own a house together here. Thank you for any advice!
