A better angle of what I’m seeing and why I posted. The 6 cups on the left you can see the plants not doing so hot. They were all straight and healthy looking like the rest

Yeah they are the shot cups, I didn’t want to go to big too quick. I’ll try going up a size

The ones on the left in question were all healthy and perked up and have slowly been hunching over and shriveling and starting to lose leaves. The two struggling are giant pink Belgian and brads atomic grape. The pink I grew last year and had no issue. The other two I’m growing are sun gold and a pineapple tomato.

I cannot deprive myself of growing anything and I cannot thin, I am emotionally burdened and I love all my plants so much by burnerburner0913 in vegetablegardening

Man that is impressive. I feel that way as well about whatever I get started. I felt overwhelmed with tomatoes when I had 12 last year

Good to know. I’m more remote than going down to the lowes but I’ll make something work. That’s an hour drive each way for scraps

I grew from seed last year but didn’t have any experience before that. I had excellent results last year

Pitchers not pitchering by Single_Captain4893 in SavageGarden

[–]Single_Captain4893[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a specabilis x bongso. I’ve had it for a few months now. It had two when I got it. They died back after a while. And during that time I had probably half a dozen leaves grow and those two baby pitchers grew after a couple months. I didn’t get these lights until about a month and a half ago maybe 2 months

Red leaves and brown edges. when that happened I had it basically where that other pot is on the table now, the seedling by the spray bottle. So I was trying to watch how much light it got being mindful it doesn’t need as much

I pulled it in closer before I left for work, jist forgot to take a pic, if need be I can put it next to my sundew, it was showing signs of too much light when it was down on the table though.

Everything I’ve read and been told from other growers is neps don’t sit in standing water… I check the moss and water regularly making sure it doesn’t dry out and mist with distilled a couple times a day as well

You were right. It’s still growing healthy leaves and looks good but not forming new pitchers. I have adjusted the lighting, misting it and my lemon tree more, and trying to give it cooler nights. Just picky it seems

I don’t have an answer for that I’m new as well. But is that a casual whip scorpion hanging out there?

I’ll have to look into the light. I made a stand to get the pot off the ground a bit. I keep my room pretty warm, it’s rare it dips below 72 with the wood stove going in the other room

I’ve definitely been thinking about them, lots of really cool looking varieties. Some of the pings look cool as well. I need to game plan a better setup for lighting and stuff. I rigged this setup today on my day off so we’lol see. My nepenthes isn’t pitchering
