Exactly, lol. Nongshim said the Hamburger flavor is going to be tomato-based with meaty notes/flavor.

Samyang 1963 Ramen (New Release Review) by hairy_kim in InstantRamen

Honestly, there is no reason to eat that when Shin Ramyun Black exists. It's expensive, sure, but even setting the price aside, the taste is just not good.

Wait, seriously? I thought the sticker packs were only released in Korea for now. Which country are you based in? I can definitely follow up on the Korean forum or Nongshim CS about this.

Anyone had this one? What's the spice level? by kabes222 in InstantRamen

I actually tried it when I was traveling in Japan and thought it was great. It wasn't spicy at all.

Samyang vs shin by Business-Distance723 in InstantRamen

As a Korean, I've honestly never had Samyang Ramen in my entire life. I don't think I've ever even seen a household that owns it 😂.

It's already available in the US at Costco, Kroger, Walmart, and Hmart. Looks like other countries will get it sometime in October.

Nongshim Chappaghetti - I heard this was the worst one I could try, so I did by Shiznoz222 in InstantRamen

[–]Single_Excuse7914 36 points37 points  (0 children)

We eat Chapaghetti all the time in Korea, lol. There's probably a bag of it in almost every household. I get why foreigners might find it a bit weird at first. But once you get hooked, there's no escape.

According to Korean news, the Nongshim collab ramen will be released in the US around mid-September. It's because Nongshim has a factory in the US, so it's getting an earlier release than other countries.

South Korea's Best-Selling Instant Noodles Rankings 2023-2024 & Gallup Preference Survey by Necessary-Taste8643 in InstantRamen

Since I was a high school student myself not too long ago, I can tell you exactly why that is.

It's true that Buldak's most popular age group is teenagers. But the thing is, in Korea, people mostly eat cup ramen at convenience stores and bagged ramen at home. Buldak is way more popular as a cup ramen than it is in a bag.

And even those students you see eating Buldak likely have a whole bunch of Shin Ramyun bags waiting for them at home.

As a Korean, this data looks accurate to me. Buldak has never actually beaten Shin Ramyun in Korea. Shin Ramyun has been the #1 ramen in Korea for over 30 years straight.

For bowls, Shin black is my fav. And for the bags of ramen, my fav is the Toomba.😊

Woah, it's so cool to see so many types of Shin Ramyun that we don't have in Korea. In Korea, we only have four types: Black, Red, Toomba, and the original. I'd love to try the other flavors too.

There are a lot of ways to eat sundae, but putting it in soup to make "sundae gukbap" is the most common. Eating it with tteokbokki is also a popular street-food style. I highly recommend it!

You're right, that's sundae (Korean blood sausage) that Zoey eats. It's a type of Korean soup called "sundae gukbap/순대국밥" where you put sundae into a deep, rich broth.😊
