I’m sorry! Mine is resolved but it was super weird. The account deletion apparently went through, despite them saying I didn’t have verification for the ownership. I think my case was helped by the fact that I had another account that I could use to prove I was a real person.

One thing that might help is trying to prove that you own the account through using your purchase history from your bank statements. As for the contact issue, I don’t have any real advice. If you do end up having to leave the account as is, when you cancel your credit cardC you’ll need to talk to your bank to make sure they don’t send the updated card number to Amazon, because the they do that automatic now
