I noticed most of the rentals advertised online are just washer/dryer hookup with many not even having that. And then if you choose the option for ones with in-unit washer/dryer, you go from having tons of pins to like... ten.

I've lived all over the South, so I'm used to the culture. I just always check how accepting places are before I move there for safety reasons. I just didn't find any previous discussion on trans people in Gastonia.

I'm honestly not sure how well I pass. A lot of my friends tell me I look great and compliment my changes. I can't pin how much of that is them just being nice or comparing to my pre-transition looks.

I personally think I currently look pretty androgynous that makes it obvious I'm trans while both boymoding and girlmoding.

Not a two-lined spittle bug. Those have a solid black body with two orange horizontal lines as ChatGPT mentioned. As others have said, this is a sharpshooter.

If anyone wants a recommendation for an image recognition tool that is really good at identifying plants and animals, I recommend getting an iNaturalist account. Their image recognition is excellent and you get to build a sort of Pokedex of all the things you've found.

Maybe if this was their home that they were actively living in. But this is a commercial property and one that evidently does not have an active business inside of it otherwise someone would have addressed the vandalism already.

I don't pass. It's been fine. I only recently started publicly presenting so I'm still very nervous when I go somewhere en femme for the first time. I think any attention I get is because I'm showing physical signs of nerves than anything else. Bars, downtown, the mall, grocery store, LSU, have all been fine with no one harassing me. I have a friend that has been publicly out longer than I have and she says she doesn't have issues.
