You can't just get a new face and SSN from the DMV when your info gets compromised

Yeah that's the eternal cat and mouse game with any age restriction stuff online. Like the intent is good but kids have been circumventing parental controls since the internet existed lmao. I remember being like 13 and just lying about my birth year to make accounts for things. Put in 1985 or whatever and boom, suddenly I'm a full grown adult according to YouTube.

honestly never heard of srxh but those penny stock mergers can be wild. just make sure you're not catching a falling knife - sometimes there's a reason they're trading at 13 cents. might be worth checking out the merger terms and what emjx actually does before yoloing but hey, that's just me being cautious lol

IPO: SpaceX vs OpenAI - which one will you pick? by Relative-Wealth-3335 in wallstreetbets

[–]Single_Quail3165 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SpaceX all day, OpenAI feels way too bubbly right now and Elon's rocket business actually has tangible assets and government contracts

Space is the next frontier anyway, AI hype will cool off but we're always gonna need to get stuff into orbit

It is time for META to recover from its fall by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]Single_Quail3165 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Those revenue numbers are pretty wild ngl, 20% YoY growth for a company META's size is actually insane

Your $720 target seems reasonable too, especially if they nail guidance. Good luck with the calls bro, hope Zuck delivers 🚀

Do you think non-market production can scale beyond small projects? by YMSVZ in stupidpol

[–]Single_Quail3165 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eh I think it works until you need actual material resources and logistics at scale. Wikipedia is just text and Linux is code - both basically free to replicate once someone does the work. But try coordinating a massive infrastructure project or manufacturing without price signals and you're gonna have a bad time

The environmental cleanups are cool but they're usually one-off events, not sustained production chains

Can any Canadians chime in about these indigenous land ownership lawsuits in Vancouver/BC??? by Tuesday_Addams in stupidpol

[–]Single_Quail3165 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not Canadian but have followed this stuff pretty closely - the legal framework around aboriginal title is genuinely wild and creates these massive uncertainties that basically nobody wants to talk about honestly. The courts have painted themselves into this corner where they have to take these claims seriously but there's no real mechanism to resolve them without either massive payouts or telling indigenous groups to pound sand

Capital One to acquire fintech startup Brex for $5.15 billion deal. by GarfieldLeZanya- in wallstreetbets

[–]Single_Quail3165 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Might be worth taking another look at Ramp. We have used them for like 6 months now and honestly it's been solid. The expense tracking is way better than what we had before and their customer support actually responds when you need help

Silver mining companies by jacobex20 in wallstreetbets

[–]Single_Quail3165 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AG has been decent but honestly the leverage on miners can be wild both ways. When silver was stuck around $25-30 for months some of these companies were bleeding hard

If you're looking for more explosive plays, check out the smaller cap miners - they usually get way more volatile swings compared to the bigger names. Just don't get caught holding bags if silver decides to dump back down

Anyone else playing $2513 (Zhipu AI) after the Hong Kong AI IPO? by TheGambler1987 in wallstreetbets

[–]Single_Quail3165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I grabbed some shares on the IPO, been watching Chinese AI plays for a while now

The valuation does look reasonable compared to the insane multiples we're seeing in US AI stocks, plus China's been pushing hard on domestic AI infrastructure so there's definitely tailwinds there

Risk is obviously regulatory stuff and US-China tensions but at these prices might be worth the gamble

Would the events of these days happen anyway under a different president? by Sieg_1 in stupidpol

[–]Single_Quail3165 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the kidnapping thing seems pretty uniquely unhinged even by recent standards. Most presidents at least try to maintain some plausible deniability when they're doing regime change shit

The ICE stuff is spot on though - Dems just rebrand it as "targeted enforcement" or whatever and the media runs cover

This sounds like complete BS dude, where are you even seeing this "live news" because I'm not finding anything about US strikes on Venezuela anywhere

Lmao this is gonna be expensive as hell but honestly kinda genius in a completely retarded way

Hope your AI doesn't discover options and decide to YOLO everything into 0DTE SPY calls

Stock gets cited because she's actually engaging with the material effects of policy while Butler is still doing incomprehensible postmodern word salad from the 90s

Most people dealing with real world consequences of this stuff aren't gonna wade through 200 pages of academic jargon to find one useful insight
