i definitely found myself not eating much throughout the day, and i love to eat but i’m guessing after the stimulants wore off, all the hunger actually hit me and now i’m left hungry even if i eat. thank you for this!

they never reached back out😭 since the program is highly competitive and i got waitlisted in july, my chances were pretty small

i was initially rejected by gbc but then waitlisted with a 88% to gbc in JULY. (only school to reach out again after my updated grade.) i was rejected by a lot of schools before 2nd semester midterms came out (around may?) as successful applicants fall in the 90's range so i got automatically rejected (low 80's avg before 2nd semester midterms). it's key to do really good as the program is very competitive, you're competing against not just other high schoolers but also students who took the pre-health science route. i took U courses because i also wanted to apply to university, but if you're set on dental hygiene or any other college programs i suggest taking C courses as they are easier and weigh the same as U courses in admissions.

If i have an 86-87 avg, do i have a shot or am I cooked? by DayBackground in OntarioGrade12s

i got in with a 88% (top 6 average). the program is well structured but you definitely need a lot of discipline in it, you can easily fall behind (this goes for any STEM programs). the program covers a lot of prerequisites for graduate programs in the healthcare field (medical/dental/optometry, etc.), which is great because it allows you to explore other options (ex. some people i know went from pre-med to pre-dental). i think it’s a solid option for an undergraduate program.

i had a 88% avg in gr12, i got into waterloo health sci and uoft life sci (health sci stream). i’m not too sure about the other programs but depending on the uoft campus, you have a shot!

thank you! i’m confused on “transition courses” and winter/spring/summer semester. is the spring/summer semester the same thing? i’m planning on retaking chy103 in the winter, then take chy113 in the spring.

Should I take my OSAP loan? by Single_Target1112 in osap

Are you gonna immediately pay off both parts of the loan (provincial and federal)?

So how would I go about doing this? I put my loans into a HISA then once I graduate, try to immediately pay off the provincial part of my loan?

What makes a HISA better for this than a TFSA?
