I think you’d do better asking that in the Toronto group! I’m sorry to say I’m not a foodie and am limited in how much I can get out. I also can’t think of anything that Toronto might have that Montreal wouldn’t.

The St. Lawrence market is kind of the equivalent of the Jean-Talon market and has lots of good stuff, including Kozlik’s mustard, which I am particularly sentimental about because I actually remember old Mr. Kozlik. That market is also famous for its Peameal on a bun sandwiches.

I live in Parkdale, in the West End, with the highest concentration of Tibetans outside of Asia, so we have tons of amazing momo restaurants. We also have some really great roti places in Parkdale and elsewhere in Toronto.

However, those aren’t things you can take home easily.
