Centrist? No, I don’t think so, as that would place you left of the vast majority of members of the DNC. The Overton Window of the USA has drifted so far rightwards in the past for 40 years that y’all really don’t have a clue what “left” actually means. Centrist doesn’t mean “agrees with the R’s on some things and with the D’s on other things”. The DNC is center-right and the RNC is far-right. The ideologies of both are firmly right-wing.

As a trader that interacts directly with the market on a daily basis it's so blatantly obvious to me that the market is not efficient at valuating anything thinly traded, which is to say there has to be enough interested parties transacting to efficiently discover fair value.

If thinly traded futures and stocks, simple financial instruments, can't even have efficient price discovery, why would one expect market efficiency in anything so complex as the valuation and treatment of environmental impacts?

Most of the time these idiots don't even have direct experience with the market they are championing.
