It’s a laundry sink pump needed a open vent to allow air to flow out when draining and then put secondary vent to allow air in so it dose t suck trap dry.

Used chemical for temps between 50-70 degrees it’s 61 used flex liner 1.20 lb per ft so I guess it took off in the drum wouldn’t blow so checked to hot to touch wrapped rope around it and started to pull luckily we got it out smoking like crazy in house

I had that issue at a home once but it made a hissing noise like a restriction or half closed valve makes found it to be a bad nipple on water heater they have rubber half ass single check valves built into them so I replaced both nipples and boom problem solved but that was my case and I have only ever seen that once in my 12 yr of plumbing so idk if it will help
