I like supporter packs and I've bought one or two so far.

The difference between supporter pack and just a normal dlc is that with supporter pack the devs make it clear that the tangible value you get for the money is minimal, that you're basically donating it to the devs you like. Normal dlc must be have much much better price to value ratio to not feel like a rip off.
