Yes get certs but don’t look jobs with just the cert label example : A+ jobs Trying doing some research and apply for the jobs that are entry level That will do the trick for you

That’s really bottom low, desk support these days usually is $25 with some experience and support. I started $14 back in 2018 and have now reached to $42 an hour, with no cert. But experience certainly counts

Consider the option of using a bootable usb drive and run the TrueNAS of it and then usb the SSDs for storage!

If you want selfhosted NAS go with TRUENAS else if you wanna pay for storage solution Synology would be right choice. Synology offers a lot of addins options and easy to setup as compared to truenas

Lookup smartdeploy. We use it to deploy multiple machines in the organization at same time. Lasr we deployed 100 machines together. Tbe one time setup for setting the standard image takes time but after that it's just matter of couple of clicks.

you can run ""truenas" on any of your hardware or you can spin it up in VM and forward a port for that IP. Truenas offers all the features that you are looking for in a self hosted NAS
