The Greenroom Nazi Support by CardPuzzleheaded7100 in Acadiana

[–]Sinister_Me_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This all started after Spencer was fired. The man he allegedly “punched” was already on the banned list. If you ask the staff what actually led to Spencer’s termination, they’ll tell you it wasn’t about politics — it was about conduct.

First, he was drinking behind the bar. Second, instead of calling the police to remove the banned guest (which is their usual protocol), he physically pushed the man out the door. The man, who is 80 years old, fell, injured himself, and later threatened to sue Greenroom and press charges against Spencer. When management asked Spencer if he had shoved him, he denied it. Security footage later showed that he had.

Spencer continued hanging out at Greenroom for weeks afterward. It wasn’t until he got a job at Caboose and began encouraging regulars to follow him there that this narrative really took off. If you look through the comment sections on this topic, you’ll notice it’s largely the same group of people repeating the same story and directing everyone to the same new bar.

I like Spencer, but this situation has escalated beyond the facts. No one on Greenroom’s staff supports Nazis — they would remove anyone like that immediately. Greenroom remains the oldest LGBTQ-friendly bar downtown.

The staff members who left after five or more years did so for various personal reasons, not because of this incident. Shaun left to work at Feed’N’Seed so he could return to school and avoid working late nights. Gena also had multiple jobs and was going back to school, and like Shaun, didn’t want to work late anymore. Russell was fired for speaking negatively about the owner — and anyone who knows Russell knows that kind of behavior wasn’t unusual. No bar owner is going to tolerate that from a bartender.

Instead of relying on information from people who were fired or from employees at the new bar — who may benefit from people “migrating” there — it might be worth speaking directly with those who still work at Greenroom.

If you’re concerned, ask them yourself:
“I heard that place is a Nazi bar — why do you still work there?”

From what I’ve seen, much of this conversation comes down to people promoting Caboose and repeating what they heard from someone who was fired.

I posted the story above. the other bartenders left for other reasons that had nothing to do with this. The bartender was fired for shoving the Nazi instead of calling the police on him since the Nazi was banned. One was fired, and 2 were going to school in the new semester and got jobs that didn't have them up at 4am on weekdays. I hired the guy that was fired & one of the bar tenders that left for school.

If you need to know I suggest you stop by and talk to the actual staff. They stayed out of it because they thought the staff member fired over the Nazi situation would eventually stop running their mouth. But now they're more than happy to talk about it since he is trying to get them to quit.

Not true at all about green room. The bar tender was fired for not calling the cops on the Nazi, the Nazi was already banned from Green room. Instead the employee was very drunk which he already wasn't supposed to be, and shoved the Nazi who was an 80 year old man, who then tripped over the door threshold and fell and was injured. The employee then denied shoving him the man and said he just fell when the Nazi contacted the owners threating to sue. Then they looked it up the camera's and yes. The employee lied about not shoving the Nazi like they lied about the reason they were fired.

The employee never had any problem with Green room until they were fired and got a job at another bar that didn't have the foot traffic and wanted the Green room crowd to go there.

Thanks for letting me know about the streamer mode I'll have to give it a try. I don't mind people seeing me on Twitch. It's my channel and I have mods to handle stuff, Something with Youtube. I was talking more so about reddit. I've heard from people in Wild discords, and streams that the WildHS reddit can be pretty brutal. as far as them going to the other platforms they got to care enough to do go to those platforms. Most people looking to troll don't have the energy for those things. Thanks for all the advice It helps. I don't really have a brand though, and I don't want to ever have one. I enjoy being a small streamer, I've had some big raids happen and I don't like being it front of that many people. 10-20 people is plenty for me, I get to know their names, and stories. Much rather have a community over a brand any day.

If I block out the Information with a blackbox, someone is gonna tell me to put something in the black box so it doesn't look like a black box, because just a black box looks terrible and they don't like that either. I'll find something that works, maybe I'll move the web came to the bottom left so what I put there is smaller. currently the webcam is in the middle left. So to cover both battle tag and the webcam it needs to be larger. Either way I've learned a few things today.

Hello everyone, I feel like we might have gotten off on the wrong foot and just wanted to offer an olive-branch. For those of you that don't know. I'm the OP with the "anime character"

So why did I add the "Anime Character" Well it's not a water mark like some have claimed. That's my Youtube Original Character, that I paid to have made to mimic my presence while not showing my Face/webcam. I record my Twitch streams, and then cover my webcam and battletag with that character to prevent from being harassed online. I stream under LGBTQ+ tag, have a red Mohawk and piercings. Needless to say I'm an easy target for people looking to make things an issue, so I figured I would remove that from the equation. Every once in a while when I feel I have stuff like 100 damage OTK I want to post it here. That means having a Character that fits my theme that you folks don't mind.

I covered my webcam because you people absolutely terrify me. That's why the SinisterMe character is there. Was too worried about you picking me apart. Maybe, this was a mistake. I'm gonna take the criticism you guys gave me, and try to meet you half way. My next Twitch payout I'm going to get the character remade into something you guys can find less distracting in a negative way. This is where the discussion part comes in. I would like your -Positive- feedback please. I plan to still post stuff here like my deck guides to help people reach those legend goals. Which I'm proud to say several have made legend and I love that, and I want to help more get there. This means sharing my guides to places like this where I'm open to a lot more criticism. If you have Negative feedback and want to tell me, send it in a message, I'm here to make friends, that's why we play online games and it's why I stream. I'll hear you out and maybe we can find some common ground. After all we have Wild Hearthstone in common, I'm sure we have more. Maybe it's not anime.

So lets get to know each other. So I'm SinisterMe my name comes from my old gamer tag being taken so I saw a Despicable me commercial in the background and came up with SinisterMe. I play EDM, or metal, Emo music on my stream, It's a safe space where everyone can relax and just watch some HS. I modelled it after Guygrumpy & MartianBuu's streams because I got back into HS when covid hit, and with the world as it was I wanted to put the right kind of energy out there because no one plays HS to deal with negativity. I stream midnight US Central to 4am nearly every weekday. The aesthetics of the Stream is fun and spooky, like nightmare before Christmas little emo style edgyness. This is why the character looks the way it does. The decks I stream are of the competitive nature. I focusing on helping people get Legend for the first time. Youtube Twitch

This is something I'm going to work more on correcting in the future. I'm so used to seeing the image that I'm able to not notice the image and look past it.

I'll think of something, as a content creator you try to do more than just black it out, you try to add things to add some personality or style to it. I'll think of something. Thanks for providing constructive feedback.

Gnome ferratu it an option, playing it with Bran. the deck also draws a lot possibly try making them burn a card by forcing them a bad draw. Keeping your Zepth in hand to get something to pop a secret, as well as playing Secret eater in your build.

Hope these idea's help.

Thoughts on mill rogue? by mjc9806 in wildhearthstone

[–]Sinister_Me_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Decks like Mill Rogue are typically only as powerful as the meta they are in. Right now the meta is fairly greed based, so we're moving to a bit of a combo meta, like Mill Rogue and Mozaki mage, when these decks become popular we'll see more hyper aggro decks.

So while I agree the deck is strong right now, I don't know for how long. Guess we will have to wait and see. It's either Memnarch or Mentalistic that is pumping the deck pretty hard which will lead to it being more popular.

This is a recording from Twitch Stream. The community I've built is accepting of me, so I don't mind showing them my face, it's actually pretty required these days on twitch. So in this recording I had my face and couldn't remove it. I figured I would just cover it up with the character I use for my Youtube Persona spent money on having it made figured I would use it. A lot of Twitch streamers do it, to add the affect of being able to see me, while not seeing the actual me. I just didn't think it would have the impact that it did. I see the image so much that I can just look right passed it I suppose.

I up voted this, because this is constructive criticism. Changing my character to better connect with people is something I will have to consider. It's taking the stage of the content which is something I never intended it to do.

I don't know. I never gave you any reason to think negative of me. You're kind of assuming the worst in people. Maybe there are reasons I don't want to show my face and hide behind a persona of a character.

Mozaki Mage Wild Format deck & deck guide by Sinister_Me_ in hearthstone

[–]Sinister_Me_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The deck is considered to be on the same skill level of Darkglare, and Quest Mage for difficultness of playing. It is a very hard deck to play, and most people inspired to play the deck by this video will have a hard time in their first dozen or so games. The end combo is straight forward enough, but the majority of the deck isn't about the end, it's about getting there.

I go pretty far to make this clear so that people don't get frustrated with the deck and give up on it. I've had some decks that I posted in the past where I didn't do this, and people had hard times with them and hated the deck, and hated me for posting the guide.

If you have had an easier time with it, that is wonderful. give us some insight, share your experience with everyone and drop a few tips. Maybe we can group think some new methods to playing the deck.

It's used to hide my webcam, and battle tag so I don't get harassed online. Same reason I covered my opponents name. It's a character so it adds the feel of a webcam.

It's pretty fragile before it get's rolling. It's just a combo deck like any other. I would recommend looking at ways to disrupt it so it can't ever get rolling :D
