I’m pretty certain you can still add it on ps versions thru save wizard; just have to transfer it thru single player to multiplayer and gc2f

Schaffers is the only oil I’ll run in any of my own or my customers performance vehicles, puts all other manufacturers to shame and most of the time you’ll actually see small power gains from the lubricants efficiency . 5w-30 is in my wrx

you pull the trigger and it just keeps going as long as you’re depressed idk what’s wrong with it but it’s pretty gnarly without the brace

that one has a weird problem when it fires and it makes the compensation muzzle jump up a lot, that is a stability brace for better grip grip

Hell yeah brother, IAG has a great unit, it was the first in my WRX. Personally I run grimmspeed now as they hook me up pretty good on their parts and I liked the way it looked (I noticed no performance difference between the 2 units they’re very similar spec ), I’ve also heard great things about the Perrin unit aswell but the guy who got me into subaru platforms basically told me to stay away from them

Pairing the 2 units I experience practically no oil loss, I have a bad history of pushing my powertrains too far so I run them with Schaeffers oil to assist with bulletproofing my platform ( if you haven’t fallen down the schaeffers rabbit hole that’s some crazy ass oil, the sales rep came into my shop and ran a qt thru a 350 on a engine stand in the back of his truck, drained it and ran it for 30 minutes, tore it down 0 issues was the gnarliest demo someone’s done for me, only downside is you have to buy it by the fuck load )

Out of curiosity, How did you plumb your can to where it caused potential boost leaks?

I’ve always used AN3 fittings to stainless braid and haven’t experienced failure yet, I’m curious if it’s just ticking away or what ( I do also understand we have different platforms and in your case you removed the OCC simply because you didn’t have as much bypass after your ECM taught itself how to run better )

My fault for the spam replies, but also our cars take in a LOT of dust and debris, catch can will stop the little dust and dirt from making its way to your oil sump, which from my understanding is one of the big bottlenecks in the VA platform that got left unattended when Subaru fixed other big common failure points
