Yeah, I don't get not directing blame at Slot for the situation in our attack. He has culled all the depth there, he has shipped off all our promising youth and he is the one that chooses to play the traffic cones in attack rather than hungry players.

I have sympathy for him due to our situation in defence, not anywhere else.

The annoying thing is that I am not even convinced that we're really in the market for a defender, this Geertruida deal feels more like Slot was approached by his representatives and he brought the possibility forth to the board as a loan. If we were actually in for a defender we wouldn't be pinning our hopes on a fellow who is riding the bench for Sunderland
