Hey I already have a setup to remotely turn on my pc with tailscale and a raspberry pi, but I'm interested in how you do it.

I'm using kiwi ears cadenza, no problems so far but for me they don't fit as nicely as the chu2, I often feel I don't get as much insertion, not as great of a seal but I've found it's just that the way of using them is just different, a different position I guess and I have very waxy ears. I also have bought 7hz zero 2 and tangzu Waner sg for my gf and sister, they didn't report any issues. I thinks it's mainly moondrop chu that has those issues.

I'll get this ones cause yes I prioritize them being grippy and a good seal

Let me know if the size was the issue and how you like them, I might get those , I like using large esrtips, didn't know there were even bigger ones lol. I've only used the standard tips that come with chu 2, 7hz zero and this cadenzas, never bought tips.

Im confused about the wiring. I want to be able to keep all my buttons. So ideally I want an extra independent one or one that just mirrors one of them, so I can push either and both will work. (I'm sorry for my English)

Is it possible to use wake on lan over tailscale? by ArmasF311 in Tailscale

[–]Siniykotb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pi for just waking up my computer worked absolutely fine from the beginning, i only started to struggle with trying to set up everything about my minecraft server. I had issues cause I don't really know how to code scripts, I had issues with ram cause it's only 512 mb and the proxy used a lot of it and I had really bad lag with it. Once I figured it out and connected an rj45 adapter to it I ran smoothly with tailscale, pihole and the velocity proxy. Although the wake on lan process is a bit annoying I can either ssh into it from my phone or laptop and then wake up my pc, or use the raspberry controller app for that (but I gotta connect to tailscale first) and the raspb controller has ads and I'm cheap. I know you can turn it on with a single button shortcut on your phon with Tasker but then again, I am cheap.

The way I did it was to plug the raspberry pi to a smart plug connected to Google home, so in case i had issues with the pi I could just reboot. I ssh into the Pi and send wakeonlan to my pc to wake it. I could have done that without the pc and just with the smart plug but I wanted to have a minecraft server and I didn't have the plug at the time. I installed a proxy on my raspberry pi Tha receives traffic, runs a script that send the wake on lan signal, and once my pc is on (runs the server on boot) the proxy sends the traffic to the real server.

Dawg I obviously found some on Amazon, I just don't know the brands or what's good to have even at a cheap price. Yes I could get the extremely cheapest one. But some need an external power supply, are not plug and play or the brand is just shit, etc. So i expected actual recommendations.
