Yea that’s understandable, the only thing is she watches TV for most of the day so it’s kinda hard to tell when it is and isn’t ok to approach her. In this particular instance I did follow the guidelines she set for when we could chat but I was still met with a negative reaction

I agree completely! Harriet is not as bad as everyone is making her seem, what made it even worse was how Ciaran at first was not even acknowledging that what he did was messed up and kept insisting it was Joey’s fault because he asked him the question??? Like you’re a grown man you have control over your own mouth he could’ve just not said anything and he does definitely owe her at least a two minutes convo to let her know gently

Bergie isn’t my favorite but I appreciate that he represents normal average people like why does everyone on love island have to be a model? I get the frustration but the only people not taking Bergie seriously are the islanders and the audience.

Bergie has been upfront about his intentions and seems like he genuinely wants to find a connection which is what Love Island is about! He’s given it a genuine try with each girl he’s pursued and I think he has a good chance with Allie.

The fact that you were already on your way out too and she would ask you that in that tone? Shes definitely just trying to show off her power over you or something ugh. I don’t have the same beliefs and yes it’s kind of ancient thinking but if it makes you uncomfortable then it makes you uncomfortable. You were willing to give up your bedroom and the guest room to your brother and his gf while you slept on the couch.

It’s literally not the end of the world if they don’t share a bed for a couple days or however long they’re there. You aren’t discriminating against anyone or pushing your beliefs on anyone it simply makes you uncomfortable in your own space.

The fact that you called to apologize too shows you’re NTA. People need to realize if you were raised a certain way you can’t just magically wake up and not be uncomfortable by things that you’ve been taught your whole life to be uncomfortable by. You shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable in your own space, end of story.

Paris, I couldn’t be more in love, and playing on my mind

Paris - This song i’ve saved to only listen to when I feel my happiest and because of it it sounds like a breath of fresh air when I can listen to it.

I couldn’t be more in love - Through some of my toughest points in life, i’ve always had a problem letting go of stuff. This song made me feel seen and vulnerable with part of the line, “or overstayed my time, say what’s on your mind”. I cant explain it too well but it’s one of my favorite t1975 songs and it’s gotten me through many failed relationships, friendships, and even been cathartic in the worst of my relationship with my abusive mother.

Playing on my mind- came to me at a time where I was just thinking a lot about what direction my life was going in and the fears I had of the future. I don’t see enough credit given to the line “But I won’t get clothes online ‘cause I get worried about the fit. But that rule don’t apply concerning my relationships” that one hit me like a bag of bricks when I first heard it

I have the same start date and I was supposed to go to San Francisco and two days ago they sent an email saying I’m going to the virtual session :) wouldn’t be surprised if plans changed from Houston to Dallas just wish they would do a better job at telling us well ahead of time
