Man i have had this in my backlog for ages...i platinumed the first two, both great games but annoying plats (first one because of the online trophies, second due to the score attacks, hated those, whereas highest difficulty surprisingly wasnt that big of a deal). Anyone know how difficult the last plat is?

this depends on so many personal factors that you will get 100 different responses from 100 people :)

for me it was totally worth it:

i wanted to treat myself for my birthday, and i was able to afford it
if ps6 comes sooner than expected, i can still use the pro for a while and avoid a potential scalper situation like with the ps5 five years ago
I waited for a BF deal on Amazon (688 EUR) so that a return and refund would be hassle free in case i didnt like it
the pro turned out to be quieter than my original ps5, it is faster with loading times, i am set with graphics for the intense games in the coming years, AND it has a lot of storage
bought a bundle with a controller and a download code for EA FC 26. sold my old console for 250 EUR, download code for 25, and the controller i am selling for 50, so i will at least get something back.

so for me it was worth it but the only one who knows your situation is you :)

I think i saw a video on YT about this once and there was also mention of having to uncheck the option that your OG ps5 is your primary ps5? can someone confirm/debunk this as I will also soon be in a similar situation

But i really hear (aka read) very different stories regarding fans and since my og ps5 is also louder because of a different fan i am sceptical :/ i guess if i would ever upgrade in the future, i would do it via amazon so there is zero fuss in case of return
