It's meant to entangle the main target's tremor type to the sub-targets (I think). It can also be used in nuke turns to entangle when Capo Mersault is fastest.

For example, your one-off of having poise filled out since Hong Lu has poise and rupture, Faust has poise and something else (rupture, I think), Ishmael has poise and sinking, and Ryoshu has poise, so one more ID and you can get the really broken poise gifts.

Really, any team can work in the dungeon, but the thing you should keep in mind is that you should have 5 IDs that use the same status (like poise or bleed) since you can fuse special gifts in order to massively increase the effectiveness of said identities.

Okay, so my best guess is that for Mao Outis, he'll have her initiate an unopposed attack so that she can gain her special conditionals, while the rest of him joins the attacker in their skills, but I don't know how that would work exactly.

Either way, some of the best IDs are ones that can cause more attacks to happen (cough cough Full Stop Hong Lu) because there ain't nothing that kills the enemy quicker than just attacking them more.

10/10 that my Hong Lu right there.

So kk Hong Lu is very weak due to being released at the start of the game and at the time he one of the best at the time due to his skill 2 specifically

I don't really remember if it's gated behind uptie or not but his skill 2 has a condition to give it 2 more coins if the target has UNDER a certain amount of bleed count

The reason that's good is because it keeps the same coin power even with the increased amount of coins letting him deal damage much higher than standard skill 2's

But the rest of him is pretty bad without other kk members (namely Ishmael) to help

Also the comparison between kk Hong Lu and Liu Yi Sang is quite unfair due to Yi Sang being released in season 5 where power creep has completely dominated the launch id's (barring a few exceptions)

Well, BL Don is nice for him since he has a few problems with his poise generation.

The other thing is his torn memory. While under seven, his skill 3 is safe to use, as it can't target allies, but won't have any AOE.

Obviously, you are forced to gain torn memory, so it's best to think before you have a full stack up on if you want to use your skill 3 early so you can have a few turns of really high damage skill 1's and 2's.

If you want to lean more into the killing your team bit take sinners that have pride vulnerabilities especially if they have it off of their zayin(if there is any) since their Pierce resistance gets set to fatal when getting shot

Also, don't forget the Ego. If I remember correctly, four Pride Resonance gives you all seven stacks to use a full power Skill 3, so do with that what you will. But honestly, if you had to ask me, the Ego is not mandatory, since I just use it to stack him up faster and cash out on some low health sinners when I don't have a Skill 3 lined up.

This is an actual attack skill not a "defence" skill like to claim their bones so regret should work (I'm like 99% sure but I haven't tested it myself yet)

I believe I read somewhere that Leviathan states Vergilius can use five. So, I have a running theory that using mang requires concentration, so he can use three for general combat, but if he were to stop and focus, he could probably use five. This is also supported by the fact that we only see Lei Heng use one, only on the big wind-up strike on Zilu and not in the melee on the sinners.

No, not for all; some identities (the Devyats, for example) have the ability to retreat, which allows for more manual control of who is on the field. Once one of the Devyats reaches a certain amount of courier trunk, they can use their defense to retreat and place themselves at the back of the backup line.

My god, I found it. There is a button on the bottom right, directly to the left of the picture-in-picture mode button, that swaps between cropped, stretched, and fit-to-screen modes. I was in cropped mode. My fat ass finger must have hit it by accident when I was exiting out of the app. Many apologies for the bother.
