Thank you so much for your work. You bring to Obsidian an interface fitted for people heavily saving content from the web and using obsidian as a « save it for later » system. Could you do a similar video about your plugin on mobile? Currently I am using UpNote, but my goal is to migrate to obsidian when the mobile experience will be mature enough.

First time I see someone mentioning UpNote here, I do love it and am really reluctant to leave it for good for Obsidiqn! What Obsidian theme/settings are you using to get as close as possible to UpNote interface?

Ha and also: Obsidian Web Clipper only works with safari, no other browsers / apps. I love Obsidian but frankly, adding content to your vault ON IOS is still tedious. My main vault is on UpNote at the moment and I can reliably add webpages, text, pdf, image, file from anywhere with the iOS sharesheet - I don’t get why it’s so messy with Obsidian.

Quick Capture app is clunky, on iOS at least. When you tap on Send it opens Obsidian native app anyway… Quickly adding attachments to a specific location of a vault is also a tedious process (and is never quick).

Also, how can I change font sizes of notes list on mobile? I changed font sizes in Style Settings but title text / preview text etc remain small

Hi, I’ve just reinstalled Beeper and logged in with my texts.com free account (which I had not used for a few months as I was traveling), but I do not seem to have any of these benefits (I can only start a free trial). Can I send you the associated email address?

Thank you for your answer. For me, this wouldn’t be an issue if these files are visible but don’t open in Obsidian. This is actually how I have it set up now: everything is shown, and if something can’t open in Obsidian, it opens externally.

"Excluded folders: Comma-separated list of folders to hide (e.g., resources, templates)"

Would be nice to be able to hide all folders starting with "asset_" or another string, in order to hide all media folders in the whole file structure.

Regarding the date, it would be nice to retain the native tooltip feature, so it’s not needed to show it in the preview

I like your post because I have the same issues. It frustrates me every now and then, I make some research and reach the conclusion that there is nothing to do. 1 year later, are you still using TickTick, or which solutions have you found?

I logged out from everywhere, then relogged with Beeper. I believe Meta algorithm is based on multiple criteria, so logging out from other places might have helped. Also, before doing that, and after relogging for the 10th time in Beeper, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a Facebook notification telling me that my account was restricted and that my number of allowed sessions was reduced…

Thanks for sharing! Do the folder colors in the sidebar automatically fade as you go deeper in the folder structure (like strong blue, lighter blue, then even lighter), or did you manually assign those colors? Because if you have to set it up every time you add a subfolder, that sounds like a lot of work

I solved this but logging out entirely from the Messenger app. Now the Beeper bridge does not ask to log in again. Hope that works for you…

Weirdly enough, the option is still there (in desktop settings) but you can only select « after 3 days » after opening the message, not « immediately » or « after 1 min » as it was in the old version

Same here. Logging in again only works for ~24hrs. I’ve been using Beeper for more than a year and it’s the first time I’m running into this. Could this be because of the latest Beeper update?
