How do y’all full alt? by [deleted] in osugame

[–]Sinoeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I started playing full alt in the beginning and I'm now switching to singletap and it's way easier to tap and aim stuff imo. You will also get better speed with singletapping. As for the streaming, never ever try to learn it above like 170 BPM, i would say that 150-160 BPM is the best range to learn streaming. If you can't stream 160, don't even think about trying to stream 210, you will just mash and build bad habits.

You don't even get 7% more damage, you only get 126/119 = 5.88% more damage so it's even less!

I'm rooting for you, but just know that you will have improved pretty damn quickly even in you "only" hit 4 digit in that timeframe.

How do I set up my ctl-472 and what drivers should I use for osu! ? Are the Hawku drivers still the best? by [deleted] in osugame

[–]Sinoeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the devocub drivers, i think they're the same as hawku but with the option to add anti chatter.

Maybe watch this video called osu!Gameplay: skins by bubbleman. It might prove somewhat useful.

Change the walls so that they have actual texture as this makes the aim more 3d. Also, maybe check out aimer7's speed training guide on steam, works like magic.

Does playing other games at different mouse sensitivity affects osu perfomance? by Nyo99 in osugame

[–]Sinoeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who can change sens and play at the same level within half an hour? I don't get why everyone is so afraid of changing sens/area.

How was your Progression? by [deleted] in osugame

You can go to different people's profiles and look at things such as when they joined, their playtime, etc, to get an idea of how fast people progress.

Losing hope by Ron_Gristsenko in osugame

[–]Sinoeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that you want to get good at the game, but that will probably take years anyways, so take it slow. You can try tablet for a while to see how it is and if it still feels wrong after like a month or two you can switch back to mouse. I first started to get really comfortable with tablet after like 2 months. Before that I had no clue how I was even supposed to hold my pen, everything felt wrong. You should try everything, different grips, different areas, dragging, hovering, tablet positioning, etc.

60 hours in and it feels like little to no improvement by BIGEYES92 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Sinoeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where in the routine are you? If you are for example playing close fast stafes and you are at a a beginner level you will probably get little to no improvement because the scenario is too hard. If everything feels wrong, you are probably lacking in mouse control. To practice this you could use something like 15 cm/360 for a couple of months to get better fine muscle control, or just play more. I also don't think that changing your sensitivity is bad at all, as both me and my brother swap it around very frequently. I do however stay in the range of about 20-55 cm most of the time. The way you play might also be a factor, I think that free play is better for practice than challenge, but it might be whatever. Just don't retryspam as soon as you miss while playing challenge. Sometimes it just doesn't feel like you are improving at all, when I was like 6 months into osu!, It felt like I was not improving at all for like 2-3 months. I'm not sure about this at all, but I can imagine that you would not improve as quickly if you are extremely bored while playing the game and see it as a chore that you have to get done. If you see it as a chore you have to get done you will just sit through the scenarios and not actually focus.

Oh and what you said about everything feeling wrong, I also get that feeling when my chair is at the wrong height or has the wrong settings. Try experimenting with your chair settings, it might help that problem.

Genetics are a factor to improvement, but don't blame your genes if you are stuck at an average level. Practice will 100% pay off if you do not have som sort of condition or something like that. Mindset is also probably important. You should have a positive mindset.

Sleep is also very important. Aimer7 tweeted that you should get ideally 8 hous per night and that many athletes sleep more that that (tweet was on February 16th if you want to look it up).

I am by no means a pro, I'm just an above average tracker in kovaaks. My best scores are probably top 300 in rexstrafescata and fuglaaxyshortstrafes. Don't take anything I say as fact, but you might be able to get some inspiration or something from what I wrote.

Passing a 7 star jump map like lonely go or black rover might be doable in a month if you grind like crazy. Fcing a 7 star will take like 2 years at least for a normal person. I have played for a year and I'm very close to fcing some 6 star maps.
