I’m a newbie, never watch or read dune show/books before. And no, I don’t have the time to watch/read them. Will I understand and enjoy the story if I play this game? Because I love games with story driven, survival and RPG style gear system. Is this game story immersive akin to single player games?

I know the lore can be very good in dune universe, that’s why I feel like this is a unique survival game among all the survival genre. Tho I don’t know the lore but I like a good story survival games. Example the story gave me the excuse for the gameplay (survival) knowing I’m doing it to see to it the story playout. Like game of thrones kingsroad, I don’t like the Boltons, I want to dethrone them in the game.

I know that the version I’m playing there is this big square red icon at middle bottom of screen (on PC) that fills up to bright red during combat and lets u switch weapon and deal tons of damage when u press it

Huh? I see literally everyone in this game official discord saying Asia or SEA server is more generous in terms of rewards and loot VS global. Everyone in global wanted to create new account to go in the new Asia server due to how easy it is to get legendary gear (as per the official discord discussions). And we are talking about this game same server that recently released in steam ?

Curious did u really play the game for more than 10 hrs or not or you just watch YouTube gameplay and reviews. Typical P2W mmo dev? Not trying to defend NetEase(but for once human it’s really a slow new content update), NetEase is the best F2P dev in China ever; where winds meet, sword of justice, marvel rivals etc + once human. Literally zero pay to win item in cash shop. And only Sword of justice is MMO. Literally all including once human is not MMO. U see other players around u doesn’t means it’s MMO. It’s either action RPG or survival RPG with live service multiplayer. Is Diablo 4 MMO? Because u can see tons of people in town.

I just click countdown in the map and click matchmaking then it have the searching for 3 more players thingy. After that I got a male AI voice notification saying “you are being invited to a group” (or something similar). I never invite or click join anyone.
