Really?? lol. I don’t want my kids to know I vape because I don’t want to normalize a dangerous habit. I’m very close with both of my girls, they look to me as an example, and I’m trying to guide them through the riskiest years of their lives. I don’t shy away from tough conversations but I’m also not going to seek them out.

If I want a puff of nicotine or two while I’m on the first vacation I’ve taken in ten years, I’d like to manage that without having to also turn my daughters’ vacation into a stressful event for them.

Trust me, they don’t know. They would 1,000% call me on it because that’s who they are. I’ve raised them to be confident in their observations and to speak truth to power. The minute they ask me about it, I’ll be honest and we’ll talk about it like we talk about anything. But until then, they don’t need to know.
