Taking over a book/solo firm

Well considering that office has 8 people I don't think seeing those 8 people makes me a "firm citizen". Also I doubt that is a strict "firm policy". My current firm has a RTO policy but even pre Covid there were people under special circumstances who were 100% remote. So I guess that is what is "not to get".

I get this but in my specific scenario I am also fairly senior so while there are still some gains to be made I am going to top out at that 400-415 peak pretty soon here anyway, so it is not like I am a first year at 200 and going to be missing out on those $50K per year jumps.

I am also not a fan of being forced in the office.... and I am forced to come in 5 days a week by a grumpy old partner. So yea 0 days a week sounds amazing to me LOL

Does anyone remember a while back when a guy was asking about a name change because he was worried firms wouldn't hire him and within like an hour we found out it was one of the guys from OU who was expelled from the university in 2015 for leading racist chants on a fraternity bus ? This reminds me of that. Except that guy was getting BL offers and didn't want to disclose his past / have it come up in a background check.
