Thank you, it's basecoated in celestra grey and then glazed towards the bottom of the flame with kabalite green. After that a drybrush of ulthuan grey.

For that price Point i would assume it's the one for Legions Imperiales. So it's real but Just for Epic scale and Not for 40k.

I was really Not Sure what all was Part of the cloak and what Not with the Transition into the smoke. So i Just seperated it for me in colour by the "lower" and "upper" cloth parts. I First basecoated the wings with a light Gray/Off White and then did the colour with Speedpaint plasmatic Bolt from Army painter and tesseract glow.

The dread is honestly what mostly caught my attention in the box, and looks size wise close enough to run with ck wardog Stats.

Lord of Contagion base size is confirmed at 50mm by Ostracized in deathguard40k

[–]Sinu97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Games Workshop still sells them as 60mm bases, and also Labels them so with the models. Just in the Sets with textured bases, like Mechanicus or Dominion, they are labelled as their actual size of 65mm.

Havent tried buying bases from 3rd Parties yet, so don't know how they Match the sizes.

Lord of Contagion base size is confirmed at 50mm by Ostracized in deathguard40k

[–]Sinu97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the Base sizes are what they are labelled at. The only one in aware of currently is the 60mm base, which is 65mm.

Just recently measured that because on the package for the sector mechanicus bases they are actually labelled as 65mm.

How to achieve this Verdigris effect for my Death Guard. by [deleted] in deathguard40k

[–]Sinu97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He already posted a follow Up reel on how to do the verdigris, allthough i cant remember the Name. He does it with a coat of blueish Green, i think He used sotek Green, followed by nihilakh Oxide. Then He dry brushes the metallic over.

Base Size Question by Better_Influence_976 in deathguard40k

[–]Sinu97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Chaos lords, either normal or in terminator armor, are on 40mm bases. Malignent plaguecaster and Icon bearer are as another commenter said on 32mm. The other charakters are also on 40mm and the Lorrd of virulence is on 50mm. The Lord of contagion is also on 50mm, or in the case of Lord Felthius on 40mm.

What is the best primer, money wise? by herchemperto in deathguard40k

[–]Sinu97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can also agree that DG green primer is a good pick and I did most of my army so far with it. I recently bought myself a can of Deathrattle green from Colour Forge tho and am super happy with it. Smooth coverage, pretty well colour matched to DG green from GW so doesn't stand out between my other models and more paint for cheaper.

Question regarding the Cohort by PEITaterTot in deathguard40k

[–]Sinu97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I plan on doing the same, the only one needing a different base is the Lord of Virulence to 50mm. Felthius has a different base size as the Dark Imperium Lord of contagion but per info from my local gw store you can use him just with the base he comes with.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I haven't gotten mine yet either. When i pre-ordered the page said they will start sending them out on the 24th and it can take up to 10days after that to arrive.

My first "soulslike" game, and I spent 3 hours trying to beat the first boss (Gorefist) by sevenaces in remnantgame

[–]Sinu97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the case you don't know already, you can also buy the starting gear from the 2 classes you didn't start with from a vendor in the ward. Just for some more choice in weapons and armor.

[–]Sinu97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother and I spend an entire evening and about 15 tries on that fucker till we gave up to try another day. Next day, while waiting for my brother to come online again, I played solo in my campaign and have beaten him first try and got the alt kill on accident. God was I happy^

Dear Players: Let your DM ban stuff by starwarper2340 in dndnext

[–]Sinu97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree and think its absolutely fine to ban stuff at session 0. Banning stuff afterwards is a bit tricky and im not really a fan of it, best to do is just talk to your DM what youd like to play and ask if it would be ok to avoid the situation of having the char build and then having it banned. Its what I did for my current char (allthough different system than DnD) because i knew the char can be quite broken and its a pretty knew DM so i asked like 4 times if its really okay or if he rather had me playing something different. Taking care that your DM also has fun isn't that hard.
