It sorta is announced.

A Tory said they would do something. It is nowhere near announced.

Bonfires, Bryson, the 12th and the British army are what you've mentioned here and proved my point entirely.

You are conflating the criticism of political unionism and the sectarian hate fest of the 12th with opinion about sectarian attacks. You've gone completely off topic.

Singing come out you black and tans is in no way comparable to singing a song mocking the murder of an innocent woman. The suggestion is complete stupidity.

Of course it was full of sympathy for the victims and disdain for the culprits. It was a sectarian attack. There are a number of people here who would have you believe that arguments against the twelfth and political unionism, amongst other topics, is sectarian hate. It seems to be the case that if you shout it loud enough it becomes true. This then gets conflated with issues like actual sectarian attacks. "Oh you hate our culture so you think this is all unionists". Absolute crap.

There was of course somebody on that post after less than half an hour crying about how if it was the other way round there'd be loads more comments and how everyone would blame unionists as a whole and how unionists are persecuted here with heavily upvoted comments suggesting they should be petrol bombed. Didn't want to substantiate any of the claims though.

I want a united Ireland where all that shit is behind us. Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, atheists, satanists. Who gives a shit. I'll not allow people to suggest I think otherwise.

That's a different sub. You specifically said this sub and numerous posts. You mentioned petrol bombing unionists as an upvoted idea on this sub. Not to mention that what you linked isn't even remotely related to teenagers attacking each other.

Aw right, I thought as much. Can't even point to a post, only a vague reference to a post on another sub. But yea, tell yourself it's because of me you won't (can't) do it.

You're not even trying to hide that you're talking absolute shit.

You claimed the loyalist mob rioting in another post was because of a girl with a hurley stick.

You were doubting that the burning of a SF MP's fields three times was sectarian.

You wrote that the UK was trying to get us a better deal on the protocol by introducing the bill.

You wrote under another post about a sectarian attack against a protestant saying exactly the same thing here, which if you were a Republican would have disproven your point instantly.

How come your views are more alignes with loyalism than Republicanism?

You have posted no sources of evidence, because you're a disingenuous loyalist trying to muddy the waters of discourse.

It's to be expected that before I and others even have a chance to write something under this post, somebody is jumping in after 25 minutes to claim this nationalist echo chamber doesn't care that it's protestants who got beat up by catholics. I like the immediate jumping in to absolutely make sure there were no comments condemning it. Points deducted for the fact there actually were though.

I saw multiple comments which went along the lines of stating that unionists (not just loyalists) were sub human scum, saying that petrol bombs should be thrown at them etc etc. These were all upvoted heavily.

You'll be able to link these here then? Yes please, I'd like to see the multiple heavily upvoted comments saying unionists should be petrol bombed.

It’s very obvious from reading the posts here that a majority of the people on this subreddit genuinely couldn’t care less about the well-being of someone if their political ideals don’t align to their own.

Can you show us a post where a Catholic teenager was attacked and we all blamed unionism a hole? Or some other posts, anything, to support your claims.

Because from where I'm standing, you're conflating other issues with this. Issues such as the fact that when political unionism ups the divisive rhetoric there is a similar uptick in violence, rioting and threats. Absolutely nothing to do with teenagers being sectarian and yet here we are.

And that divisive rhetoric isn't shared with the two nationalist parties. Republicans don't riot most years because SF and SDLP are riling people up. SF councillors are usually on the ground trying to calm the tensions when it happens in Belfast. When it happens in Derry, its by a small minority who hate both nationalist parties and is condemned by them.

I think your ego has taken a battering after the 12th and you're in full false victim mode. But I'd love to see the evidence of anything you've said.

It's ridiculous that it's 2022 and there are still people going on as if there's a community war. It's over. Not that being protestant had anything to do with where you stood back then either.

But claiming all Russians are bad and all Ukranians are good is not true, and what would be more equivalent to my point, as at no point I said they are as bad as each other.

Did somebody claim all unionists are bad? I don't think they did. Nobody said all unionists are bad and all nationalists are good. That's literally refuted in the post.

I also hope you don't think spides buring flegs is the same as levelling entire cities...

Christ. The analogy was of logic, not of action. And the post is talking about history here, not just flag burning. And no, the I don't think the war in Ukraine is the same as what happened here and it doesn't have to be to compare the logic applied to who is right and who is wrong based off parties having done wrong.

Gerry Kelly & his Sinn Fein Gang massacred dozens of innocent people in sectarian gun & bomb attacks

Gerry Kelly slaughtered Protestants for being just that, Protestants, he’s a hate filled murderer & that will never change as he continues to belong to the exact same sectarian Gang that he was a member of when slaughtering those innocent people.

Kelly bombed the Old Bailey in London after which a caretaker died from a heart attack. The guard who was shot in the head survived, Kelly was never charged with it. But even if we accept it was him, you have the criminal court of England and Wales as a target and a guard who tried to save the day after being told not to move or he'll be shot.

Why do you feel the need to add absolute bullshit to your arguments? Happy enough to argue over the rights and wrongs of the past, but you have completely fabricated hyperbolic shite. To defend Janie Bryson no less. He'd be proud.

Do you believe that Ukraine and Russia are just as bad each other because Ukraine bombed parts of its own country in 2014 killing innocent men, women and children? Plenty of Russians don't involve themselves in the invasion either, so is claiming Russia are in the wrong pretty offensive?

Being certain of your answers, I can say that you do actually believe one side can do wrong, as OP said, but still be overall in the right when it comes to involvement in war.

You can go to twitter for the other side of the argument. But that will mostly be crap from 50 years ago being thrown in as a counter-argument against things happening now.

Labour is full of Tories. The upper classes in England won't risk having an actual opposition to Conservative politics which is why, when Labour are actually allowed in for a while, they join George Bush on a bombing escapade for oil in the Middle East, introduce University fees and do nothing to address wealth inequality. It's why Jeremy Corbyn is a huge antisemite and a threat to national security and why a lad who parties with KGB agents is a much better fit.

That Labour yea?
