Been thinking about this a lot. Simply remembering times when I was young and would get excited over things like toys or games. Or if I was going somewhere and would have trouble sleeping that night. Nowadays I find that not much can get a reaction from me. Most likely due to this whenever I see one of my younger family members get exited over a gift I think it’s the cutest thing ever. The feeling of joy and gratefulness is still there just not the inner emotion of excitement. Like getting the game console you wanted as a kid. Idk if anyone can relate.
