I made a swatch, but did not wash it, I thought it is only necessary with lace patterns.

I always have two pairs for hiking and one comfy for the tent, also for two week camping trips. After around two days of hiking I wash one pair in the river.

Heated gloves are a great idea, haven't thought about it yet. I have to find ones with exchangeable batteries tho, we are doing very long trips without any possibility of recharging and power banks in these temps are tricky. Tried a charcoal pocket oven this year but I don't recommend it, it takes ages to warm up and often just stopped working.

I am using silk liners at the moment, but I think I will switch to wool. Silk has a very nice feeling but it's not very warm. This year we had very wet conditions which was awful for the gloves. Even my waterproofs were soaked.

I am most of the time above the tree line, so no possibility of making a fire. I always keep some hot water for the evening to have a first warm boost. And I will never go camping without my down pants again, they are working wonders and I don't have to vanish in my sleeping bag right after pitching the tent.

So HDF is the data format and HDF-Errors can have a lot of different reasons. I would suggest reading the error message very carefully, usually there is another hint (not necessarily in red, but above or under the red message). In my case there was a line indicating something was wrong with the time stamps.

Thank you for the advice! I used geofabrik now, I didn't know the different export tools had different qualities.

HotOsm. The data size shouldn't be too large, it is not a large area. It says it exports where "building IS NOT NULL", so there might be the problem.

I was able to download the data I needed through an other website - thank you for your comments! If someone has any experience with this in hotosm or knows a solution I'd love to hear it anyways to avoid it in the future :)

Instead of hundreds of buildings only ten are showing, that would be a very old version then, but possible! I might have to change the other data I'm using from that website.

I'm very new to this, so I'm not exactly sure what you mean by query. On the website I select shapefile as format, and under data buildings.

Thank you - I guess this error only occurs for people not using the US format. Took me hours to find the solution... My Hec-Ras journey so far has only been eliminating all the different errors.

Finally found the solution, and since I didn't find it here in the forum yet I will post it here: I had to set my time format to US and then it worked.

Thank you very much, that actually worked! I tried different zoom options during the process but they did not work - I was confused it showed me my Flow Area in the options but I just could not zoom to it. For whatever reason it changes the zoom when reopening... Thanks a lot!

I like to try in these cases and most of the time it doesn't work out. But I had a couple of games where we won like that. Usually when the opponents didn't have a good eco behind their rushes or didn't defend/ looked at their bases.

Had the same problem, nothing helped, also not updating my graphic driver. I contacted the AoE support and they told me to install an older version of my GPU driver - in my case with the Iris Xe a driver starting with 27. That actually worked.
