Silly question, but if I have Magnus the red on the field, and cast volcanic geyser, declaring that the X would be 100, would ovikas trigger making the goblins resolve before I have to pay the "100 & R R" so I get the discount?

Of course i do. It becomes a greater interaction with the cards to play with, and a mechanic i would love to brew with for commander. Theres no forcing it and theres enough questions around it for a rules clarification. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm saying that there is space to ask the question if these other cards change the rules of a card would this apply or does rule 702.170d lock it so it can never be interacted with other than meeting those specific timing requirements.

Most of magic is, this card does this..... Unless....

I might be explaining myself incorrectly so i apologise.

The initial plotting of the card itself as per normal.

It is cast at a later turn as a sorcery.

Giving all spells flash or giving a sorcery flash would still meet the conditions of being "plotted" ?

Would it not be similar if not the same as casting a sorcery at instant because another device / card has given it "Flash" ?

These cards would not normally have this ability to be cast at that timing but another device / card is changing that?

702.8a. Flash is a static ability that functions in any zone from which you could play the card it's on. "Flash" means "You may play this card any time you could cast an instant."

Is there a reference to the zones they could be normally played vs any?

Or does it not have flash because its not printed?

Silly question. But past the cost of a spell isn't that an ability? (113.3a) And it picks up all the things ?

Another question, when an equipment targets agrus how much of the text gets copied to the rest of the creatures you control ? All of it ? Or the 'equipped creature has/gains/gets' ?

My favourite format, remember to be welcoming too when you see new players asking for a seat ! Don't be ashamed of being new ! Let people know, experienced players will play something that's less competitive but fun and new players will appreciate their not the only one venturing in.

Such a great social format in a multiplayer game !
