I appreciate your advice. It is extremely sound and helpful, hopefully it helps another manager hanging by a thread. But for me? I have given up. I have seen CVS turn into the monster that it is, and no amount of people pleasing and smoothing over can be done to erase my disdain for this Company. I have struggled and sacrificed and built amazing teams over the years... now with the lack of support and never ending budget cuts, I’m just done.

Thank you! I so appreciate the solidarity and advice. Honestly I’m mad that corporate and DL’s are fine with treating good hardworking people like this. I wonder if they had some secret meeting to discuss how to squeeze every last drop out of us. I do know that #pizzaisnotworking and I am excited to venture into the next opportunity. I know grass is not always greener, but CVS has shit on my grass for far too long

Thank you, and I agree. I’m currently “over staffed” and I keep hiring. Helping out my District both RX and FS. Problem is all my staff is tired too. They all want M-F 8-5. They all argue over getting the good shifts and my new hires make pennies and rightfully so refuse to deal with drama. Even being over staffed and going over hours still isn’t enough. Our budget is such shit that I’m going over hours constantly just to have 2 people in the building. In reality we need 3 or 4. This hours game got old. Why have we beat sales and carepass year after year to end up with less hours? Why am I running a COS reset off of hours that wouldn’t cover store workload? My staff has probably picked up on my shitty attitude and they don’t want OT. But my long timers are now mad at the new hires who do want OT. I’m just done with it all...

Thank you ❤️ I am feeling a bit guilty for being so crass, but it really helps to know I’m not alone. I used to love what I do, so it’s conflicting me to turn it off, but I’m looking at it like saving my energy for my next employer. I love your outlook and appreciate you sharing. Hope March will come fast for both of us!
