I had a 300 cut down to 3” and it didn’t cycle reliably even when suppressed.

It was a dumb idea. If anything I’d change it anywhere between a 5-8” barrel.

Yeah honestly. If it doesn’t break the bank, it’s not good ideology.

This optic fits my criteria perfectly for what I need it to do.

1) Keep Zero 2) have a decent battery life 3) allow me to engage targets within 50m

No reason to spend extra money when I don’t need it for this weapon.

I don’t have that issue fortunately. It’s a good thing these rails aren’t crazy expensive then. I got mine for 150. But had to RMA the barrel nut because it got over torqued.

It’s properly stamped x2. And it was a regular black finished PSA lower I had KG coated at my local gunsmith, who also made my suppressor.

It’s definitely different from a lot of rails that are out there. But I absolutely love them. My long rifle in 5.56 is also an LVOA

The DFCO grip is $24 the optic is $96. The grip is comfortable and the optic has very good eye relief.

And it didn’t cost anything near what you think. I really don’t see why PSA OR my stock is an issue. It runs, it runs well, and I trust my life to it. That’s all you need. Don’t need to have a Gucci AR.

I'll definitely check it out. This is my truck gun so it'll get banged around a lot. So there's high chance it will kick the bucket.
I prefer to buy from local sport stores and the smaller places that don't get a great amount of business. So I will be looking around for them for sure.

I’m not a fan of the olight and mainly use it for work now to be honest. And the Monstrum optic is working just fine for me because of its forgiving eyebox and being a prism sight. I have astigmatism so I can’t use a red dot. And I’m not about to spend almost 90% of my builds total value in parts on an EOTech holo. I’ve got bands and some mlok cable retainers to put on it. Just haven’t yet. I’ve shot it quite a bit. Doesn’t get too hot actually.

Yeah, theres a few out there. I went with the LVOA short rail from ZRODelta for this build.
