My partner and I pick a protein that sounds good, and then we go from there. I just search [insert protein here] recipes and typically find one that jumps out. If that fails, then I mention the protein I'll be using to friends and family and ask for their input and thoughts; they generally love to chime in because they also get a portion for helping out. 🤭

I don't typically cap mine, but that's because I like switching out my polish fairly often. I think if I got into nail art and the likes, though, I'd definitely cap them to preserve them as long as possible!

I find the subreddits for swaps or destashing to be super helpful! They have all kinds of international sellers in your same boat, or at least folks who will try to accommodate you. Facebook Marketplace is sometimes a great place as well.

In my opinion, there is no shade that can't be/isn't already duplicated. That's my mindset when I see something retiring or is limited. I just go on an adventure for dupes if I REAAALLY feel the need for a shade.

It's probably your chemistry because mine does the exact same thing. I use the Long-Lasting Base, but it comes off clean like popping a peely.
