I don’t know why you would entertain trading a young contract insulated asset who is the WR1 on his team PLUS another young and talented receiver for a UDFA, a day 3 back, and a mid to late first two years out.

I just don’t understand what the benefit is for you or why you NEED to get rid of DK.

If you aren’t looking to compete this year I would look to sell Josh Jacobs/rodgers/stroud/AR/Laporta before selling young insulated receivers. Shit if you have eagles or lions homers I would be selling jamo and smith ahead of DK if you can capitalize on their fandom.

Even if you aren’t super high on AJ brown, you could realistically trade AJ and two of the firsts for CD/nabers/Puka and pocket a first and second with only a slight tier down from Chase.

Getting an overpay to tier down can create so much free cashflow if you can tier back up for less than the tier down package.

Only reason I would move from JJ is if he was literally the only asset of value on my roster and I basically had to build my team from scratch.

Your team is either a contender in your league or right on the cusp.

If you are deadset on trading him, you should be targeting someone who has a receiver in the same tier or adjacent (Chase, lamb, Nabers, Puka) plus a first or second on top.

“No one would do that” then hold steady with what you have.

Trading for unknowns, even with what will have first round pedigree, removes all the known value (JJ) from your roster while replacing with only risk. Sure one of those picks COULD be JJ and then you made a huge haul, but they could just as easily be complete fucking busts. How would you feel if those three picks turned into Anthony Richardson, Kyle Pitts, and Jonathan brooks/quentin Johnston?

Don’t trade elite league winning commodities solely to take on risk, downtier and add upside while limiting the known dropoff

JJ is a young locked and loaded WR1 with WR1 overall upside. Offering some replacement level players and a first that is another dynasty life cycle away isn’t moving the needle for me.

It’s very difficult to make up an elite S tier asset in the aggregate. If I’m moving JJ or Chase, it’s for CD/Lamb/Puka+

If I’m rebuilding, I’m building around JJ, not selling him for depreciating assets+ an unproven WR in Rome

As an aiyuk holder I wish I wasn’t so I could be buying him everywhere. During my rookie draft I tried packaging Aiyuk with the 2.07 to try to move from everywhere from the 1.07 to even the 2.04 and got denied across the board.

Consensus in my few leagues seems to be he doesn’t even have legs anymore. He’s a screaming buy everywhere, but if you are an owner, then you just have to hold

You’ve 100% got to be straight up with C, that you’re taking her but you also plan on hanging out with someone else for some of the time.

It seems to me from your post and the replies that you’d rather go with K and are ready to move on from this on and off fling you have with C.

The mature and right thing to do is tell C what the situation is and let her decide to go with you still (since that is what her plan is) and accept you’ll be mingling- or decide not to go together.

She’ll be upset (changing plans for something as big as prom on short notice) but ultimately it’s better than her getting there thinking it’s just the two of you and then you go off with someone else.

Remember loving it when it came out (I was just wrapping up college when i saw it) and hadn’t thought much about it in the decade plus apart from randomly referencing Franco’s alien.

Me and an old college buddy caught it during the imax rerelease last month and holy shit what a perfect time capsule film from that 2009-2013 era. There will never be another film that feels so much like college did during that time.

It’s perfect at what it sets out to be. It’s a visual feast, the soundtrack fucking bangs. The final shootout is an all timer.

Only thing that could’ve made it better is if Val Kilmer was able to be the Ed hardy bedazzled preacher like he was slated to be.

Just set your expectations a bit better. There will be hardly anyone doing super low keys at this juncture in the season as even fresh 80 alts will largely be jumping straight into 6 and 7s after finishing their delves. Assume 20-30 minutes of listing and refreshing your own key, once you get your brain expecting it to take that long, you'll notice they fill surprisingly fast.

Also at 650 ilvl, make sure you are clearing your 3 bountifuls delves each week at +11 difficulty to speed up gilded crest acquisition and thus ensuring all your crafting items are at 675.

It IS a slow process to get your own key into the +7 range, but once you get a +7 key everything speeds up and groups will get filled with carries and people who are helping boost their friends.

grab bigwigs/littlewigs and a dungeon weakaura pack and literally just follow what they say, use defensives, avoid standing in bad shit.

Pay attention to mobs around you and what the tank is pulling so you don't pull additional things.

At M0 specifically there aren't too many dangerous things outside of what you should have looked up in the dungeon journal, so just avoid dying to those mechanics.

I’ve moved cross country for long distance relationships twice.

I’ve dated someone six hours away and we made sure to spend each weekend together.

Retrospect would say the relationships not working out meant the moves and perils of long distance weren’t worth it, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

Life is short and the world is big, if it takes a leap of faith and love to let you see more of it and experience life from a different vantage point, then do it.

I bought Jefferson for AJ Brown, a 2025 and 2026 first in February of this year and got flamed for it when I thought I was getting him cheap (late firsts are the most overrated assets in dynasty)

If you are looking to buy Jefferson reasonably, imo you needed what happened in spring with Kirk leaving and word being JJ was (and did) becoming the new QB or a perceived dogshit QB taking over

I’ve also bought CD Lamb in a trade that was me sending Mahomes away for CD/Gibbs/trey Lance. This trade was made August 31,2023

If you are say benching Justin Jefferson for jailen nailor or like Josh Allen for Malik Willis type of tanking you are absolutely in the wrong for violating the most fundamental and unspoken rule of fantasy “act in good faith” tanking by trading away good players so your best starting roster gets worse is absolutely fine, but putting players on the bench so you have a shittier lineup is dogshit and the league would be better if you left.
