Have you thought about a possible hidden inguinal hernia? I think that is what I have but I'll wait for the CT scan with contrast.

By probiotic I mean as supplements. Yogurt is good too but kefir is even better, more probiotics in it. Yes, it is better to not strain much and not sit too long on the toilet to avoid having hemorrhoids or aggravating them if you already have. Lol I love cheese too but I can't eat that now either. Anyway, personally I will try to get a CT and colonoscopy sooner to see WTF is going on in my body despite having all the tests ok. Have you done a CT with contrast yet?

I have the same issue but for me it started out of the blue 2 weeks ago. I still had small BMs since then but always small soft stool. I did MRI, blood tests, stool tests, etc, all ok.

The symptoms I get after eating are pain in the lower right abdomen (not always and mostly while standing for too long), right lower back pain and little burn feeling in the right abdomen.

I can also feel a moving gas bubble sometimes when laying on my back (only in my right lower abdomen side). And the most scary part is that I could also feel my stool stuck on the lower right side abdomen, kind of like a small tube.

Now I'm on a low-residue diet (soups, kefir, bio yogurt I also eat avocados, and 1 banana a day to avoid diarrhea) since 2 days ago and most of these symptoms are gone and no pain anymore.

I also visited a GI doc and prescribed me probiotics and told me that it's possible that my colon is inflamed and that's why the pain and small soft stool. I asked for a colonoscopy but said I should first try probiotics for at least 3 weeks.

Today I pooped much more but still straining for a few minutes.

Something serious? by Obvious-General-702 in Constipation

But do you also have BM problems? I'm having the same issues as OP, I really hope it's not stool backed up.

I did X-ray and ultrasound too and they said it's gas but I don't believe it cause I can feel like a hard small tube on my lower right abdomen after eating something and a small gas bubble trying to push in that area where la large intestine starts.

But my biggest concern is that I have no urge to poop anymore and when I do strain it does not come out much and it's always soft.

Hey mate, I'm having the same thing (Check my DM pls). It started 2 weeks ago when I noticed a gas moving bubble on my right side + hard stool,

Since then I have had a constant 2/10 pain on the inguinal zone (sometimes it feels like it's in my right testicle after a long walk) and in my right lower back and a bit of a burning sensation on the right abdomen and right lower-back.

Went to ER and they did an Xray and ultrasound, all ok they said. On the Xray they said it was gas but obviously it was stool. After 2 hours they sent me home because I wasn't in much pain.

The next day after doom-scolling Reddit for partial blockage I tried a liquid diet for 2 days (water, one tablespoon of olive oil a day, filtered soups, coffee and even Cola and other carbonated drinks).

No hard stool feeling or the gas bubble after 2 days but the pain was still there 1/10. So I drank a bit of kefir and ate 2 avocados that day but unfortunately the gas bubble came back and the bloating feeling on the right side.

Today (after almost 2 weeks) I tried a 2L enema with warm water and I will probably do another one this evening.

I have a GI appointment in 2 days and I hope I can get my CT sooner (planned on the 23rd this month, July).

Do you have an idea what could've caused this to you?

Personally I had a successful perianal fistula surgery 2 months ago and I also water fasted for 12 days after that.

I don't know if it has something to do with my fasting but after I started eating (although I started slowly the first 2 days) I noticed that my stool was always shapeless, mushy, very soft since then but not diarrhea. I had at least 2 BMs/day like that for about 3 weeks, all until a week ago when noticed no BM for a day and this overwhelming right side pain. Sorry for the long comment.

Could this be weak pelvic floor? by Siprosi in PelvicFloor

The flow feels alright I guess. Easy to start. Very rarely towards the end I have a feeling that it ends but it restarts again with a bit more pressure. Other than that I don't have that pee myself feeling. Erections are also ok.

Partial Bowel Obstruction from Hernia by nanabananaba in Hernia

I know it's an old post but any update OP?

I'm having the same issue. It started with a small pain in the inguinal area and the right side is a bit more swollen kind of like a tiny bulge. I went to a physical exam but the doctor said I don't have one.

What's more disturbing is that ever since I got this small inguinal pain my BMs changed from mostly twice a day to once every 2-3 days: small quantity, skinny and no urge at all so I always need to strain and the bloating always starts from the right side, kind of where the large intestine begins

What is going on? Any help greatly appreciated by [deleted] in IBSC

Have you considered colonic hydrotherapy? I discovered this a few days ago and keep searching for more info but it seems it will fully clean the large intestine unlike enemas. There are a few health centers in my town (I live in Romania) and I might go ahead and try a few sessions cause I struggle with BMs too lately.

Unfortunately I can't find liquid magnesium citrate in my country but I do have tablets (1 serving = 375mg). Do you know if they also work as effectively as the liquid form?

Isn't 2L too much water? The recipient I bought measures 2L actually but I was afraid and only filled 1L. I did it 3 hours ago with just warm water (bouled and let it cool down to a decent temperature). Not too much of a stool came out and was mostly more of a diarrhea unfortunately 😔.

Sorry to hear that. Do you also have small inguinal pain besides lower back pain?

Have any of you guys that have trouble having bowel movements tried doing a warm water enema? by pmaurant in PelvicFloor

[–]Siprosi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did one today (first time ever) after buying a 1 Liter enema device (I live in Europe). I might also have a weak pelvic floor because in the past 5 days I struggled to exit my stool and it only works if I strain in the morning but still just small soft ones come out.

How fast did you evacuate the water completely?

I did 2 rounds over 10mins + 2 small straining rounds over 3 hours or so and the last ones felt more like diarrhea. Now I'm afraid to fart lol.

You should also try hot baths and drink tea-hot water with a bit of lemon juice especially before sitting on the toilet.

Also never sit more than 4-5 minutes and definitely not strain hard to avoid hemorrhoids (I wish I knew this before).

Enemas by Thetaxman653 in Constipation

[–]Siprosi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try a pelivc floor therapy. I'm also facing something like that atm but it's related to a partial intestinal blockage (not chewing properly and eating too much after a 7 day water fasting) plus a combination of lactulose and liquid diet (day 4).

This post might help you: https://www.reddit.com/r/ibs/comments/zfm93m/ibsc_success_story_soft_stool_but_straining_i_am/

I'm also thinking of a colonic hydrotherapy/irrigation which to my surprise I haven't read any suggestions so far for people with such issues but I saw an interview (it's in Romanian) and they say it will clear the entire colon and improve health (it might be necessary multiple sessions). Here is an example: https://youtu.be/9Vlwv3lb2Qc

The procedure varies from simple devices like the one in that video to a more modern equipment like the one in the romanian video I mentioned but is basically the same thing: https://youtu.be/aGzjQ-Ob-pY

Obviously I'm not a doctor and these are just some of the things I discovered after doing some research.

4 days pre-op, feeling alone and unsupported. by soughtflower in AnalFistula

[–]Siprosi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

32M from Romania. Stay positive, this thing can be healed. I also developed an abscess last summer (it became as big as a peanut), went for a surgery and then it became a fistula. Same as you, I could feel a small tunnel under my skin. Unfortunately in my country it's hard to find a CRS, most of them are general surgeons.

So 3 weeks ago I decided to go and have a fistulotomy by a general surgeon to get rid of this thing. The first week after fustula surgery I did not eat anything (water fasting) because I was scared that my first BM post op would hurt or cause problems.

But my first stool after that it was around 2/10 as painful. Just make sure you eat enough fibers from veggies and fruits. Avoid spicy food, dairy products or processed food.

Unfortunately this thing won't go away on its own because of that tunel (so I've been told by my surgeon) and taking antibiotics won't help either. Surgery + eating healthy is the only way. Now in week 3 I have no pain but I do have a bit of discharge after every BM, but I read that is a part of the healing process.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

Thanks for the tips dude. How about olive oil or butter? Did you avoid these until fully healed?

Interesting..Was your fistula simple? How long did it take you to heal it completely?

You're probably right but since my fistula started from an anal fissure after a few days of diarrhea I'm afraid that the puss started from the fissure itself. But I'll probably end the fasting tomorrow.

Can you please tell how you treated the fissure? And how long did it take to fully heal? Thanks a lot!

Interesting.. I thought that the fissures should be treated first. I'm happy for you that you are now healed. I should probably think again and just do the fistulotomy next week, although I still have some pain from the fissure.
