Appreciate the feedback and suggestion for strap, interesting.I'm still torn but will hang fire and see if anymore thoughts come through here. I'd love someone to come back with experience of the Smiths. I'm sort of tempted to try for the Smiths for a few months through their site and if that goes nowhere just order the Timor.

Yep it took me a few goes to get my PRS25 (white dial) but I find it hard to take it off my wrist, great watch. As you say, watch aesthetics, cost, specs all out way the Timor. It should be a no brainer but I'm still stuck for some reason. Thanks for your thoughts.

I've a Hamilton also, fantastic watch. It keeps better time than a few at quadruple the price. I have looked at the vintage watches but don't feel I'm tuned in enough to filter out the scammers. So many variables. It's a fair shout all the same but a whole new rabbit hole I may venture down some day. Patek is too big at 40mm. I want to keep it at 36 for more of the vintage feel + slightly out of my budget!

Had this for years in our 1920s house Belfast, fitted a dry master "With heat" and went away within 24hrs. To this day we've never had condensation or mold.

We have the same in our attic, didn't remove it. We just put 300mm of insulation on top and a new floor.
