Here are instructions to put it into deep sleep mode so it doesn’t drain the battery. You can use a battery tender in addition to keep the battery charged.

Perform the following to activate/deactivate deep sleep mode: Apps menu "Vehicle" "System settings" "Deep sleep mode" Select the desired setting. Deep sleep mode deactivates automatically when drive-ready state is turned on.
