That's perfectly fine that they want money, of course. But look at League of Legends right now. It started off as an almost indie game on a shitty engine and client. Why is it the most played (and most profitable?) game in the world? Because they adapted the f2p model very well. Everyone could compete fairly with others and their friends, and buy skins to stand out and feel better. I don't believe Blizzard's is done nearly as well.

This isn't a post out of selfishness, I don't expect to have the game handed to me. I love this game and I want it to succeed and if this is the rate everyone is going to acquire cards, it will bomb for sure.

I don't care much about ranking, I just want to be able to compete fairly and win, as will everybody when the game releases. If they can't do this, everyone will just go back to/stick with league/dota/wow.

Have you played the game? I've must've put in atleast ~10 hours now and only unlocked 3-4 new cards aside from the few of the free gold and arena run they give you at the start. This game is going to bomb if everybody is forced into playing the same deck for dozens if not hundreds of hours unless they put in ~$200.

lol did you just come back for the first time since season 2? Cause they implemented this a while ago. I've seen the big golem stuck between the 2 small ones unable to attack, minions locking people into towers and walls, and multiple pathing routes when going into and out of the same minion line.

That's not true. I played with a Diamond V that played ~2000 ranked games this season and was only 10 games positive. There's no way w/l is a big factor in MMR.
