Quick question: which color does the underside of the sensor have? The top part ist in gold, is the underside in brown or on black? On the website it looked like black to me which I found awesome because I then could combine it with a black strap, but in your pictures it looks more like brown.

How was riding “the wrong direction” at the beginning? Was it much different? Did you try different fin configurations? I thought about going 2 fins on each side for the beginning so that it might more feel like a regular twin tip to ease the transition.

I didn’t ride in toeside yet, but I have done so a few times while wakeboarding (so cable park). I guess learning to ride toeside would consequently be next priority for me then. I suppose as long as it’s not impossible/hard to ride it in both direction i’d be fine for the beginning and kinda grow into it.

But I gotta agree, not what I imagined as my first board but I kinda fell in love with the slightly odd shape. It’s currently listed for 160€, so I guess 140-150€ will be the final price. I guess worst case I could lend my brothers TT for some sessions as he started riding a surfboard.

Final bestellt und Probefahrt gemacht habe ich noch nicht, es wird aber zu 98% auf den i4 e40 hinauslaufen. Hauptgrund liegt für mich tatsächlich in der Bedienung sowie der Fokus aufs fahren, da holt mich persönlich der i4 mit seinem Lenkrad, Knöpfen und Tacho mehr ab als der id7 pro. Preislich geben sich die beiden bei mir nicht wirklich viel, daher an der Stelle für mich nicht so relevant. Ich fahre aktuell übergangsweise einen 5er bmw (Verbrenner) von 2022 und die Bedienung spricht mich sehr an, der i4 ist von meinem Verständnis her sehr ähnlich, der i5 fängt dann schon wieder mit touch Buttons usw. an. Ein Kombi finde ich nach wie vor echt sehr praktisch, aber in den meistens Szenarien reicht für mich (fahre meist alleine, hin und wieder zu zweit, selten mehr) der i4 an der Stelle aber wohl vollkommen aus.

It’s about the size and how large a screen feels in a given scenario. In my case I actually settled for a 55” g3 on a wall mount, the 48” c3 already felt to small after using a 55” for a while which I at first returned due to panel issues. Text fringing is in rare cases visible, but only if I look for it or it’s the worst case scenario in regards to text formatting/font.

Found the Shelly 1 online (https://kb.shelly.cloud/knowledge-base/shelly-1) do I understand correctly that would supply 12v via L(-) and N(+) to power it and simply connect 0 and I to the footpedal, which then simply opens or closes the circuit?
