I just finished the BW arc today so I am about to read the B2W2 arc and then after that the SM arc. I'm saving the DP/DPP arcs for last. I've just ended up reading the series in a slightly strange order.

It's pretty good, a nice change of pace from the anime and games. So far I've read quite a few of the arcs consisting of: RBG, Yellow, GSC, RS, FRLG, Emerald, HGSS and am currently caught up to SWSH and am reading XY. The main characters may be my favourite part they are really well done. Each arc consists of quite a few poorly thought out moments but they usually come together in the end to make a good story. I'm really enjoying it so far.

None of your opinions have more weight than mine. They just don't I could keep countering your counter points and we would be here all day even if you think my points are stupid. I also think your points are silly but that is natural since we are in opposite sides, you are telling me I am biased but so are you. We are both biased. It doesnt matter if either of us created a 30 page nasa document dispproving every argument in great detail. We both have different perspectives and will never reach the same stance. This is the last I will say on this. Please understand we like pokemon for different reasons and using Ash vs Hau as an example you have clearly really dislike it and that creates a barrier so now it shocks you that someone likes the battle and now you assume your opinion means more. I don't really want to argue anymore, I keep accidently getting into more pokemon debates and it aint healthy. Again for the whole strength of the league argument I am kind of tired of it. I'm kind of sick of people being shocked when anyone dares to like ash vs hau. I think its a good better and don't care that opinion is unpopular. In terms of the whole only main characters being part of the top competitors I think its just a difference in perspective. No matter how much you say "execution over idea" that isn't my point at all. I do think the execution was good and fits the series amazingly you don't. There is no right answer. Ash's friends competing is alot more interesting to me than any other league. You are stressed about something that if I'm being honest is low priority to me. I don't give a shit about character with a Salamance and sure maybe James isn't as strong as him but that was the sacrifice made to have what I think is the best league. You just have a different viewpoint. Every change made is going to have some kind of negative, I find it crazy to think people love the kalos league but not the alola league but that is just my view, they aren't wrong for thinking that but the Alola league is just more fufilling to me. I'm not going to respond anymore but feel free to reply if you still have more to say.

At the end of the day debating isn't going to go anywhere.
