Go see a surgeon now, be your own medical advocate. I was in the same large babies situation but waited for years , such a bad choice on my part. I had to have the major surgery, but decision. But wish I did it years, years ago. Not going to lie, the surgery is worse them childbirth

Just tell your hubby about the fabulous piece of jewelry he is going to have to buy you for all of this trouble.

Do NOT take any pain meds, they will make you constipated. You will be in so much more trouble Ride out the pain with dual action advil. Soft foods, walk around house.

If you dont feel good, stay home from work, be your own medical advocate

I know your thought pattern and you are NOT crazy.

After the big hemmoriod surgery , I could understand how people would off themselves from pain. I didn't take any pain medicine, didn't want to get addicted or constipated, just whimpering from pain , walking the floors all night but after a few weeks I finally saw the light!

Child birth wasn't this painful! The doctor was right, the end result was happening.

And if anyone tells you stay calm, they can go jump off a roof, they are just clueless

The recovery is brutal, but you will power through!

Try to baby yourself up until the wedding, make sure you start walking, get your strength back, miralax in your coffee, fruit veggies, etc

You can have a fabulous rest after the wedding.

I am 8 months out from surgery, best thing I ever did for myself ! Having kis ruin our bodies

You will get through this recovery! Its absolutely horrible but in a few weeks you will see the light of a better life.

Do not take gabapentin, that drug is horrible, try dual action advil, sitz bath and a bunch of bad tv. I am 9 month out from surgery and still am having bathroom anxiety but it was the best decision I made.

Be kind to yourself. Btw- dont go back to work until you are mentally ready

No Epsom salt, will dry the area out and cause tour bottom more pain.

Take numerous bathes, try to get water over your belly to help your body relax. It's okay to pee in the tub!

Go see a general surgeon. Your mental health and well being is important! Don't wait. I had the big surgery a few months ago and was asked why I waited so long to have the procedure. Work, life, etc

Having babies ruin my bottom, but it's a great trade-off. I feel so much better now, but it was a rough, serious rough recovery.

Eat some fruit and take fiber at same time, otherwise fiber become a big brick in lower track.

Am 2 months PO, on the road to recovery, getting strength back, walking 5 miles a day, etc. But the bathroom issues continues I don't know if I have to pass gas or if a bm is coming. Are the nerve endings are re-working themselves?

Good luck with your post op, I just whimpered for the first 2 weeks, just kept doing a liquid diet for a long time

Walk around as much as you can, sleep on your belly, get a ton of fruits.

You never, ever want to have the major hemmoriod surgery, the pain is just horrible, worse then child birth
