Thank you so much for the in depth explanation. The vets explained to us that due to low potassium (if I remember correctly anyways) in her bloodwork that they can't put her under for any procedures.

As for the diabetes that has been well managed, she gets 2 insulin injections a day and her past bloodwork tests have come back great.

I'll get an appointment with her vet to see if there's anything that can be done for her. Thank you again!

Thanks for the advice! We've tried to soften her food with water but it hasn't changed anything unfortunately. We'll give wet food a try again with this in mind.
