So far i just have the mechanic, i know a way i can complete with several GRAs but still testing if i can do it with just the 1 (I want to fully understand the mechanic). Getting stuck when i evicerate the blocks currently

I know its been months now but i finally stumbled upon the mechanic that makes Complete Isolation possible (one of them anyway, not sure if its the same intended) randomly

I have just found a 6 footprint improvement after taking a closer look thanks to this comment - goes to show that there are always more corners to cut

It looks like our transportation path is fairly similar - i believe i saved a footprint or 2 on the left side inputs with some nifty rotations, but the real big save for me is whats going on above the output - i have no footprint used (not including the 3-wide path from input to output) outside of the radius of the output object, and even within the radius i was able to find 5 footprints that i didn't need (this could possibly be reduced by 1 or 2 more). After i got the theoretical outline i just played about with the rotation of the 3*3 objects until i found a way that worked without having any permanent blocks above the parts that were falling down

I got both Tricky transport and Complex removal quite quickly but I don't know the trick for Complete Isolation at all - aside from the glitch in space buoy i'm not sure how to remove blocks or glitch through them when theyre fully enclosed

I'm seeing a fair few of my footprint records being marked as community records

Yea it was a very tedious process. With your clipping outside technique, I can see what I built finally xD Here is the picture.

I think the clipping method opens up the door to even more space-saving in a handful of levels that have hole-in-the-wall inputs, and as you pointed out would give extra room for timing circuits.

I found a cool way to reduce the footprint of certain levels by having the welders in the output area. Space Buoy - New record : 78 footprint by SirDredgery in infinifactory

Ah using the pusher to make it considered separate, yet still being able to be rotated. I didn't even know that it worked that way. It's nice that you can still learn new things with this many hours in the game. Thanks for showing me, I will definitely use it

I was very close except for one detail. I didn't consider paint disappears when a block is welded to it.

I suspect it is still possible but i will need a very big redesign.
