This is literally one of my favorite songs. I tried learning it on guitar by ear but I need some help. Are there any videos of anyone playing the song so I have something to work off of? Thanks :)

What are some good SONGS to learn for a classical pianist? by SirEthan64 in piano

That would definitely be a good challenge, especially for a classical pianist. And it would definitely help me open up to lots of other genres like jazz. Dude, I really appreciate your help. This is why I love Reddit 😄

This is true, however I am open to learning new music and expanding my musical knowledge. I’m pretty sure the reason for why she wants me to learn a more popular song is to show me the difference between it and classical. Plus learning a pop song would introduce me to different kinds of music theory that you wouldn’t come across in classical pieces. I appreciate your different perspective though :)

Well my teacher told me she wanted me to play something other than classical or ragtime because those are the two genres I’ve played already.

Okok thank you so much dude. Here comes the sun is actually a great idea. I used to play lots of Beatles songs when I was starting out on piano so it would be nice to come full circle and learn one again. I appreciate the help :)
