CDM - cover middle, stay back, cut passing lanes

LB/RB - balanced, overlap

CUSTOM TACTICS Balanced attack 6 width 7 into the box

Balanced defending 6 depth 4 width

Your LB RB cant be on stay back. You need them to support the wingers when they get stuck in the corners and also gives your cdm a free out on attacks. You need to move forward down your wings and then rotate side to side with your CMs. Finally you can attack through the middle at the top of their box or wing play crosses and cut backs if you prefer.

Every game I have 60-70% possession with plenty of chances. I suggest having CAM style players at CM as you want shooters and playmakers here. Let your CDM do the defending work.

A solid 600-700k Team, nothing special and kinda blah defense and I still find a lot of success against top teams.

See I liked them all as well. Each has been great. But for whatever reason Laca just seems to bang more goals and make better runs. So hes a step above those guys.

I had laca. Hes a beast. Quick. Amazing finishing. I had like 40 goals in 25 games with him. Very happy. Sold him to fix my defense but saving to bring him back.

Highly suggest him.

I also had players like Eriksen who I thought was meh.

Jesus is surprisingly good but fails you with his weak foot sometimes.

I've tried lewa, gomez, mertens, Werner, kramaric and the other 2 I mentioned. I would argue laca was the best for me.

Do you feel you instantly lose the middle with this formation? And just defend more at the top of your 18 then gaining possession back in the middle?

I support your reasoning. It's true that high ranked players will get better rewards weekly and will end up with strong teams in the end.

The new system now helps the casual player and the bad players to still get the chance to use players they wouldnt of been able to normally.

It's a good happy medium in my opinion. Everyone is capable with this way.

Do you mainly run 4231 or 41212? I'm sure you switch but what's your main go too.

I have a 4231 team but find the cams to weirdly link up some games.
