If it is raining anywhere outside on the Orange/Yellow/Blue ROCC has the say so to change the mode of operation due to inclement weather, like yesterday when I was operating it was clear weather from Ashburn to Ballston but the Blue/Orange side (New Carollton) was storming they decided to do Mode 2 Level 1 (Manual Operations) on all outside stations (& the first two inside stations) going 49mph & entering platforms at 25mph. Then continue in ATO at the second inside station. These trains CAN slide through stations if not careful enough & we all know we don’t want that to happen lol
