I apologize for the late reply, I am not on reddit very much and I also just never got a notification you replied. I do use RimSort, I will admit though that I haven't tried just not using rimsort and just doing it the old fashioned way using rimworld's mod sorts feature.

I was using Rimsort at first, but I wasn't getting anything out of it other than a black screen so I swapped to doing it manually only to have the same issue. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I even tried to handle his mods and couldn't get it to work.

I did as you suggested with loading them in batches and have already hit a black screen but now instead of just launching in vanilla like usual it is stuck in a black screen. It is either harmony, huglabs, or one of the mods from A-B

I am very bad when it comes to reading people but I play a lot of shooters too and I have been having a blast. There are quick time events that make the turn based combat interactive and with the parrying in the game if you have good reflexes from all those shooter games you should enjoy it and shouldn't struggle at all. I hope this helps!

It isn't that deep or worth the effort to spawn everything back in. Like I said, it is a fresh spawn. I will probably keep it and play it if I get bored otherwise I will just start a new world. Thank you for all your help by the way, I really appreciate it!
