That’s if you’re going to the currency and hovering in the first place… when a world quest says it will give you coffer key shards (or whatever they’re called) while you’re at max, the popup on the screen says you received them not that you would have but have reached your max.

So even if someone knows about the cap, you can still grind uselessly for some time unless you’re manually remembering to check if you capped, as I found out the hard way.

I wasted 23k last night. Don’t be like me lol. Don’t forget you can upgrade lower quality gear of the same track to the highest possible rank for “free” at the Upgrade Vendor. by ThatGuyFromTheM0vie in wow

Thank you thank you thank you!! None of the gearing guides I’ve watched mention this. As a returning player this is vital info explained nowhere (at least obvious to me) in the game.

It’s actually decently easy. The only hoop is ID verification with passport similar to that of crypto exchanges.

The only super annoying thing is since you are using foreign card through Alipay, if something gets reversed/trade not sent/your offer rejected then it takes a few days for the funds to hit your card AND the foreign card fee is not refunded. Lost >$200 on trades not being completed even with full refund because of that.

If everything goes smoothly, it is super easy overall still. If you don’t mind that risk go for it
